the front

So after I had tried pushing both doors and pulling on the left door, I finally got in pulling on the right door. I was about to give up but I figured I had embarassed myself enough to treat myself to some yummy coffee. I love how modern everything is. So clean and white! and when you pay with a credit card, you get to sign the ipad screen with your finger! I walked from the hospital to get here because driving and parking in this part of the CBD is a mess!

The ambiance is like classy diner/bar with the bright red stools at the white counter. I love the modern feel of the place. And it’s fitting that the Occasional wife is next door with their modern organizing aids.

I started off with a coffee latte which is an espresso (double in my case) with steamed milk.  The glass that it comes in is beautiful. And they use Illy coffee!!! From Italy!!! Love!

duck confit crepe

The duck confit crepe came with blue cheese, green apple and balsamic reduction with a small side salad. The duck is cooked elsewhere and chopped up and put into the crepe. I think I would have preferred my duck to be heated before it was placed in the crepe. Duck, blue cheese and green apple are a timeless combination.

iced tea

For my grueling walk back in the humidity, I got an iced tea to go. It was great!
