It seems like not a lot of people know about this place. It is a bit a ways off the beaten path. I was sad to find that this place was empty when we came in (but deep down inside, that just means more authentic Honduran food with fresh ingredients for moi!)
The pollo en mole was a dish of stewed chicken cooked in a dark and spicy chocolate sauce with beans and rice. This was the best dish of the night. The chocolate sauce was so rich but not overly sweet. The chicken was tender and falling off the bone.
The Puerco Guisado is a dish with stewed pork cooked in house spices with beans and rice. The house spices were a bit lost with the richness of the pork but overall I did appreciate the good quality of the ingredients.
