The Cheesecake Factory
75 Middlesex Turnpike

Now I know this is a huge chain across the US, but my family comes here a few times a month (and almost everyone’s birthday is celebrated here, too) so I thought, how could I post an entry on this. Besides the very generous portions (enough to feed 2) and decent prices (especially if you come in at lunch time when everything is almost halved), the customer service here is great. They really look out for their patrons. Now usually after ingesting American food, I get that heavy-lead- grease feeling in my stomach. Not so with the Cheesecake Factory!
For example, today, the cheeseburger I ordered was medium-well because my server told me that it wouldn’t be pink, and I figured, this isn’t Capital Grille, I’m not about to risk undercooked meat. So imagine my surprise when my burger came out and it was reddish-bright pink! I asked the waiter to take it back and cook it longer. While we were waiting, the manager came out and told me that my burger was free ($12) and my brother could get a free slice of cheesecake ($10-$11 value) to enjoy while waiting for me to eat my meal!
This was my alleged “medium-well” burger. It still tasted good after they finished cooking it. Not sure if it’s worth the $12. Probably should have gone with lunch menu (where the average price for entrees is $10).
This is the chicken madeira; their most popular chicken dish. DELISHHHHH
My dad gets this every time; Lettuce Thai Chicken Wrap. Very tasty and pretty to look at. Beware, not for messy eaters!
The tuna tataki salad. My family thought this was going to be one of those huge salads that feeds families of 4, we were so wrong. It still tasted good, but we probably each got about 2 bites.
Fried calamari. It was surprisingly fresh tasting for a chain.
My regular dishes at this place is : Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp (Thai curry dish), the Hibachi steak (w wasabi mashed potatoes!), and the miso salmon (I found the recipe online, super simple so I try to eat it at home instead of at the restaurant). You’re probably wondering why we order so many Asian-themed dishes at an American restaurant, cuz it tastes good!
